BIOGRAPHY

Elina Zazulia, an artist born in Russia and now based in Colombia, works with multimedia technologies, space, and movement. Having transitioned from an architectural background into the vast world of media art, Elina's practice revolves around exploring the formal elements and psychophysical properties of audiovisual media. Using computer graphics, video, sound, neural networks, and immersive technologies, she creates multisensory experiences, focusing on processes such as transformation, mutation, variability, and instability. Her work, inspired by the dynamics of nature and human perception, represents a delicate connection in an ever-changing world, positioned in the liminal space between the visible and the unrevealed.

Elina's projects have gained visibility in international media art festivals, audiovisual events, theatrical productions, and contemporary art exhibitions. Without the restrictions of specific institutions, she is dedicated to realizing her vision of media art and exploring the vast artistic potentials of technology.
