BIOGRAPHY
Jordi Cabestany is a filmmaker and audiovisual creator. He holds a postgraduate degree in Cinematographic Photography from ESCAC, a Master’s degree in Digital Video from UPF, and a Fine Arts degree from the University of Barcelona.
He currently teaches in the field of art and co-directs the contemporary dance company La Taimada together with choreographer Olga Álvarez.
He has created films and videos that have been screened at numerous international festivals and exhibited in art centers.
STONE AGE is a digital meditation—a tension between weight and emptiness. The work strips down digital space to uncover a mineral truth: its permanence. Every form is a reality, a memory suspended in time. STONE AGE is a cartography of the soul, a geological memory—the will to leave a trace.
