VISUAL METAMORPHOSIS

The exhibition “Visual Metamorphosis” brings together a group of contemporary artists who explore the aesthetic and conceptual transformation in the digital era. Through their works, artists Nono Palace, Nebvla, Alba de la Fuente, Adri Besada and Monomo present an interdisciplinary dialogue that questions and expands our perception of reality, inviting us to explore the intersections between the physical and the virtual, the tangible and the intangible, combining elements of nature, with human forms that represent the echo that each of these advances has in our society.

Taken together, the works in this exhibition invite us to reconsider how digitization and aesthetic transformation can alter and enrich our understanding of the world around us. It not only reveals the relationship between technology and art, but also challenges the viewer to explore the possibilities of a new visual language that transcends the traditional boundaries of perception and experience.

Nono Palace's “Violet Whispers” sculpture fuses the organic and the abstract, challenging the distinction between the natural and the artificial, and revealing a beauty that emerges from the balance between control and chaos. “Trust Traces” by Nebvla explores the fragility of trust in relationships, drawing on the myth of Cupid and Psyche to show how betrayal leaves emotional scars, but also allows for the renewal of trust.

“Chandeliers Narrative” by Alba de la Fuente transforms and fuses the elegance of chandeliers into architectural installations that defy scale and materiality, creating immersive spaces where light and form dialogue poetically. Likewise, Adri Besada's “Awakening of Light” takes the viewer from darkness to clarity through 3D dreamscapes, symbolizing a personal and artistic awakening, always in contact with nature. And finally, Monomo's “Ilumini” transports us to an imaginary forest where there are different luminous trees that represent the resilience of natural beauty and the transformative capacity of light, offering a poetic refuge in the midst of modern chaos.

Together, these works give life to a metamorphosis experienced by human beings in their natural environment in which they also adapt to new visual forms of stimulation that question and expand our own reality.

ADRI BESADA

Adri Besada, a multidisciplinary designer based in Spain. Adri studied product design at IED MADRID but ultimately specialised in digital art that seamlessly intertwines surrealism, technology and nature. Within the digital realm, the synergy of bodies, objects, clothing and movements often speaks more profoundly than words. Adri is dedicated to capturing the beauty of this synthesis, seeking to deepen his understanding of how the human form is expressed through digital canvases and dressed screens.

"Awakening of Light" is a 3D visual piece that takes us from darkness to light. Through three dreamlike landscapes, the composition explores the transformation of light, moving from deep shadows to an all-encompassing luminosity. The work captures the essence of a dream evolving into consciousness. This 30-second video reflects the experience of an inner dawn, where light and clarity slowly emerge, illuminating what was previously hidden.

MONOME

Diego Castro also known as MONOMO, is a London based CGI/AI artist with a sharp focus on digital creation, with an architectural background, and an endorsement from the Arts Council in the United Kingdom. He aims to recreate futuristic bio-focused concepts using CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) and AI CLIP (Contrastive Language Image Pre-Training).

His vision aims to create a present and future where organic structures act symbiotically and blend seamlessly with their surroundings, breathing architectural systems that resemble natural environments. Where nature and architecture synthesize and become unrecognizable from each other, creating a perceptive distortion between the invisible limits of the environment and society.

Here, in the forest's heart, the tree of luminance holds court, stands a sentinel of the silent woods, its branches a symphony of golden orbs and copper threads, casting a gentle fire upon the dusky world. This is nature's grand pavilion, where light weaves its structures, a testament to beauty's quiet resilience amidst the wild's whispering breath.

NEVBLA

Nevbla is a collective of digital artists founded in Milan in 2022. Their work reflects on the constructive and self-destructive aspects of contemporary Western society. They use myth as a basis for cultural evolution and shared consciousness, reworking these values into a modern vision. Nevbla examines the impact of commodification on meaning and engages in a creative process that explores, interprets and overcomes external influences. They aim to rediscover the uniqueness of the present, analyse the past and project themselves into the future.

"Trust Traces" explores the concept of trust within all forms of love. Interpersonal relationships rely on unspoken rules and tacit agreements that foster deep, lasting emotions. However, humans are inherently flawed and may struggle to maintain the balance these relationships require. This theme is reflected in the ancient myth of Cupid and Psyche, where love and passion are bound by secrecy. Psyche is forbidden from discovering her lover's identity, but when curiosity leads her to break this promise, the trust collapses, disrupting their balance. The aftermath of betrayal involves inner turmoil and challenges that must be faced to restore trust. If the feelings and determination are strong and pure, the trials can be overcome, leading to a new, reformed trust. The crisis leaves lasting marks, like tattoos on the skin, symbolizing the enduring impact of the experience.
